Kingdom Way Primary Bible Curriculum — Unit 1: Who Is God?

Help young children build a strong biblical foundation for understanding who God is with Kingdom Way Primary: Unit 1 — Who Is God?, a 10-lesson Christian Bible curriculum for children ages 4–7.

Designed for Christian families, homeschoolers, Sunday School classes, children’s ministries, and small churches, this printable Bible curriculum introduces children to foundational truths about the character and identity of God through Scripture, hands-on activities, memory work, discussion, and age-appropriate application.

Rather than simply teaching children isolated Bible stories, Kingdom Way helps children understand the big truths those stories teach us about God, Jesus, His Kingdom, His people, and the Christian faith.

What Will Children Learn in Unit 1?

The first unit of Kingdom Way answers one of the most important questions a child can ask:

Who is God?

Across 10 lessons, children will explore what the Bible teaches about God and begin developing a biblical vocabulary for talking about who He is.

Unit 1 Lessons

Lesson 1: God Is One
Children are introduced to the foundational biblical truth that there is one God.

Lesson 2: God Is Creator
Children explore the creation account and learn that God made the world and everything in it.

Lesson 3: God Is Our Father
Children discover what Scripture means when it describes God as Father and learn that they can talk to Him in prayer.

Lesson 4: God Is Holy
Through Isaiah’s encounter with God, children begin to understand God’s holiness and how He is different from everything He has made.

Lesson 5: God Is King
Children learn that nothing is too difficult for God and that His power is greater than our own.

Lesson 6: God Is Wise
Drawing from Solomon’s story, children learn that true wisdom comes from God.

Lesson 7: God Is Love

Lesson 8: God Is Just

Lesson 9: God Is Faithful

Lesson 10: God Is Near
Children learn that God is always near to us; he loves us and cares for us.

Designed Specifically for Ages 4–7

The Kingdom Way Primary Edition bridges the gap between preschool Bible activities and more traditional elementary Bible study.

Children at this age are ready for real biblical truth—but they still learn best through stories, movement, repetition, pictures, conversation, and hands-on activities.

Each lesson therefore combines Bible teaching with developmentally appropriate activities that help young learners hear, say, see, and practice the lesson’s Big Truth.

The goal isn’t simply to keep children busy while adults study the Bible.

The goal is to begin teaching children how to know what they believe—and why.
