What Will Children Learn in Unit 1?

The first unit of Kingdom Way answers one of the most important questions a child can ask:

Who is God?

Across 10 lessons, children will explore what the Bible teaches about God and begin developing a biblical vocabulary for talking about who He is.

Children are introduced to the foundational biblical truth that there is one God.

Children explore the creation account and learn that God made the world and everything in it.

Lesson 4: God Is Holy
Through Isaiah’s encounter with God, children begin to understand God’s holiness and how He is different from everything He has made.

Lesson 5: God Is King
Children learn that nothing is too difficult for God and that His power is greater than our own.

Lesson 6: God Is Wise
Drawing from Solomon’s story, children learn that true wisdom comes from God.

Lesson 7: God Is Love
Children explore God’s steadfast love and care for His people.

Lesson 8: God Is Just
Children explore the justice of God and how he always does what is righteous.

Lesson 9: God Is Faithful
Through God’s promises to Abraham, children learn that God keeps His promises and can be trusted.

Lesson 10: God Is Near
Children learn that God is always near to us; he loves us and cares for us.

Designed Specifically for Ages 4–7

The Kingdom Way Primary Edition bridges the gap between preschool Bible activities and more traditional elementary Bible study.

Children at this age are ready for real biblical truth—but they still learn best through stories, movement, repetition, pictures, conversation, and hands-on activities.

Each lesson therefore combines Bible teaching with developmentally appropriate activities that help young learners hear, say, see, and practice the lesson’s Big Truth.
